Mother's Day

Mommy & Ava. Thank you Tamara for taking
our photo & baking yummy pies!

Ava & Grandma Weets

Sooo big!

Tired bunny. But oh-so-cute.

Dress-up

Good shot, Uncle Mark. All Easter photos
taken by Mark.

Ava fell victim to the desires of Aunties
Lara & Tanya to continue dress-up during
our get-together on Easter. Here Super Ava
sports a cape. The saddest part was that she
seemed to enjoy it. For the last couple of
weeks she's been bringing the blanket to
us to put on her. Her jammies look extra
special on Saturday mornings with a sash on them.

Just too darn cute.

Sorry, kid.

Easter Sunday

Bunny buddies, Skylar & Ava
Where did they go to?

Playing hide & seek with Daddy. I got you!

This year I've taken to creating a scene for every season
on the dresser in the entryway. I particularly like this one.

Here Comes Ava Cottontail...

Ava's dress got dirty, so she was walking
around on Easter with the remainder of
the outfit on. Auntie Tanya suggested
putting on the cottontail to make her
into an Easter bunny. Baak, baak.

Bunny ears.

the big One

Ava turned the big One at the end of March.
We had a pool party at the D.L. Community
Center and, later, ice cream cake, pink-frosted
chocolate cupcakes, and pizza to celebrate.
Ava also started walking a week before her
birthday during the flood fight. I saw a little
blond head go bobbing across the room.
